New and Improved!

Mumbai monsoons are no match for our soap recycling center! This week we finished a series of renovations on our workshop, lead by our most recent volunteer, Peter, a design and marketing professional who traveled from Florida to work with us for the past month.

Our newly designed workshop is divided into two rooms, with separate space for drying, sorting, processing and storage.

We’ve installed shelves to fit the thousands of bars of soap we process each month – while they are waiting to be delivered to eager children in need.

Oh and did we mention we love visitors?┬áSo if you’re ever traveling to Mumbai and want to see for yourself how soap is recycled, please get in touch with us at thesundarafund@gmail.com. We would love to welcome you and show you around.

We would like to thank Sam Ganglani and The Good People Fund for their generous donations and making our vision a reality.
