Stella is the founder of the SHE Project, which has employed 20 women from the district of Adaklu to create and sell soap. Her employees also participate in additional training such as marketing, communications and inventory recording in order to successfully run their small business. These women not only are given the means to become financially independent, but are improving access to hygiene in their communities, which will have long term benefits for public health.

Stella’s goal is to support these communities to prevent the spread of the coronavirus as well as other illnesses. The SHE project has diversified the source of income and reduced the existing economic and health challenges faced by communities in the Adaklu District.
